Limassol police arrest two for cannabis

Police in Limassol on Monday arrested two persons, aged 20 and 22, after cannabis products were found in their possession.

In a spot search of a car driven by the suspects, police found plastic sachets of dry cannabis plant weighing approximately 214 grams, three hand-rolled cigarettes, and a precision scale.

Police also found €3,240 in the possession of the 20-year-old who was driving the vehicle.

Both were arrested initially for evident offenses and then rearrested on warrants.

The Limassol drug squad (Ykan) is furthering the investigation.
