Construction work begins on deteriorated Somanya-Kpong road  

The long-awaited 11-kilometre Somanya-Kpong Road is undergoing construction by Generals Construction Limited in the Yilo Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region. The 11-kilometre Somanya-Kpong road was asphalted in 2016 under the erstwhile NDC Administration but got destroyed by heavy limestone trucks.
