6.2-magnitude quake shakes Guatemala, no injuries, damage reported

GUATEMALA, 21st July, 2024 (WAM) -- A 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck Guatemala, with tremors felt in El Salvador and Nicaragua. No injuries or damage have been reported in the three countries.

The US Geological Survey (USGS) pinpointed the earthquake's epicentre at 8 km southeast of Jalapa, at a depth of 265.5 km.
