RSS meeting at Karnataka central university triggers protest

An RSS meeting at Karnataka Central University near Kalaburagi, on July 18 from 4-7 pm sparked controversy. Around 100 students and faculty attended to plan RSS's 100th anniversary. Vice-chancellor Satyanarayana defended the meeting's legality and fairness toward other groups' events. AISF (All India Students’ Federation) protested, claiming it sought to saffronise academics and demanded action against Satyanarayana.
