Suspect photo released in sucker punch of 89-year-old comedian: NYPD
MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Police have released a photo of a suspect accused of punching an 89-year-old woman in the face unprovoked on a Manhattan street, authorities said.
The victim, D'yan Forest, is known for being the oldest working female comedian in the world. Forest was sucker punched while walking to the gym near Seventh Avenue and West 11 Street A 9 a.m. on Wednesday, police said.
Forest suffered a bruise to her left eye and stumbled to the ground following the attack. The suspect fled and allegedly ran toward Greenwich Avenue and West 11th Street.
First responders transported the victim to a local for treatment.
According to investigators, the suspect was last seen wearing a tank top shirt with a Jurassic Park logo in the middle, authorities said.
