AVQ&A: What's your favorite documentary?

We love to celebrate narrative film here at The A.V. Club, but that doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate documentaries just as much. We’re just over the halfway point of the year, and have already seen some great new entries like Jeff Zimbalist’s Skywalkers: A Love Story, which premiered on Netflix this week, and Girls State, the highly anticipated follow-up to 2020’s Boys State, which opened at Sundance earlier this year.
