Durkee Fire grows overnight, prompts Level 3 'Go Now' evacuations

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – The Durkee Fire in Baker County grew overnight Thursday and spurred new evacuation notices Friday as firefighters work to contain it.

The fire reached 2,699 acres, or four square miles, with 0% containment as of Friday morning, according to InciWeb.

Level 3 “Go Now,” Level 2 “Be Set,” and Level 1 “Be Ready” evacuations are in place for residents in the area. These evacuation locations can be found via the map below.
