Shelfy Launches In US To Extend Food’s Freshness

Wellness solution company Vitesy has announced the US launch of Shelfy, its smart device built to extend food shelf life and reduce bacteria.  Vitesy says that Shelfy utilizes air purification technology to extend food shelf life by up to 12 days by eliminating bacteria, microorganisms, and mold. As a bonus, Shelfy helps reduce 80% of unpleasant refrigerator odors. The device has three modes of operation: Eco mode to optimize battery consumption, Crisper mode for use within the crisper drawer, and Performance mode when Shelfy’s maximum power is needed. Shelfy has a three-week battery life and charges via a USB-C port.

The Vitsey Hub app integrates with Shelfy to provide users with information on demand, such as a temperature sensor, and a door sensor that keeps track of how many times the refrigerator door is opened in a day. Information is tracked via charts so users can track the efficiency of their refrigerator over a length of time. Shelfy also offers integration with Google Home and Alexa, letting users control Shelfy through their preferred smart home ecosystem.
