EastEnders fans say star ‘hasn’t aged’ and can’t believe his ‘real age’ as he celebrates his birthday
A NEW resident of Albert Square has celebrated his birthday, and fans simply cannot believe his age.
Micah Balfour recently joined the BBC soap as George Knight’s son Junior.
Social media fan account Walford East shared a post on the actor’s birthday.
Alongside a picture of the character posing in the square, they wrote: “Happy birthday to Micah Balfour (Junior Knight), who turns 46 today. Have a wonderful day!.”
However, fans simply could not believe that the star is in his forties, saying he looks much younger.
They flooded the post with comments in their droves, as well as on a seperate thread on the fan forum website, Reddit.
“The fact he can easily pass for a 33 year old is amazing. (I think it said Junior was 33),” remarked one fan on X.
A second jokingly asked: “What in the AI is this?”
“Blimey he looks at least ten years younger than that!”, stated a third viewer.
Whilst a fourth EastEnders fan wrote: “46, chap looks much younger,” alongside a shocked face emoji.
“I thought he was in his 30s. And George in his 50s.. what?!”, exclaimed a fifth user.
Meanwhile, a sixth sarcastically said: “He could at least look his age, he looks 30.”
His character is already causing trouble for the long-standing residents of the infamous East London location.
Last night’s episode saw him making moves on his dad’s ex-wife, Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).
She felt frustrated with her husband, Ian (Adam Woodyatt) and appears to be disillusioned with their relationship.
In a shocking cliffhanger, she gets in the car of Junior and tells him to drive, just when he hints that a romance between the pair could be on the cards.
