S. Korea's foreign currency deposit rebounds in June

SEOUL, July 19 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's foreign currency deposit rebounded in six months owing to strong demand for the U.S. dollar deposit, central bank data showed Friday.

The deposit, denominated in foreign currencies, gained 1.61 billion U.S. dollars from a month earlier to 90.57 billion dollars at the end of June, after sliding for the past five months, according to the Bank of Korea.
