Disney Shares First Look at Chad Michael Murray In 'Freaky Friday 2,' Jamie Lee Curtis Reacts

We have our first look at Jake in Freaky Friday 2!!

Chad Michael Murray is reprising his role as the motorcycle riding heartthrob turned love interest for Lindsay Lohan‘s Anna Coleman.

While filming began a few weeks ago, it looks like Chad is just getting onto set to start filming his scenes.

“Jake is back, baby,” Disney Studios captioned the pic, which you can see below. “The sequel to Freaky Friday is coming to theaters 2025.”

Jamie Lee Curtis shared the photo on her own Instagram story, writing, “Oh, Jake…. @chadmichaelmurray we have MISSED YOU!”

CMM reposted her story and added, “Don’t tease me Tess,” along with a winky face emoji.

Freaky Friday 2 picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.

It appears as if Anna’s daughter will be the child of Anna and Jake, who have long been separated. Stay tuned as we learn more about the upcoming movie!
