Lafayette 4-year-old shot and killed Thursday morning

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A four-year-old boy has died after being shot in Lafayette Thursday morning, authorities said.
Lafayette Police responded at 10:34 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Bryan Street to a report of an injured child. The child was taken to a local hospital by ambulance where he was pronounced dead.
The shooting has been tentatively ruled an accident. Police said the 4-year-old was shot accidentally by his 10-year-old brother.
LPD is investigating this incident. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
