Tualatin suspect search closed railroad tracks, Tualatin River

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Railroad tracks and the Tualatin River were blocked off while police worked to contain an assault suspect Thursday morning, authorities said.

According to Tualatin police, officers set up containment for an assault suspect.

Details are limited, but authorities said that due to the ongoing incident, the railroad tracks and Tualatin River were both closed while they handled the situation.

Police said they don't believe there is any threat to the public.
