'Dexter: Original Sin' First Look Photos Show His Origin Story From Student to Serial Killer

We have our first look at the Dexter prequel series, Dexter: Original Sin, which takes place 15 years before the original show!

The first look images feature Patrick Gibson as Dexter, Molly Brown as his sister Deb, and Christian Slater as Dexter’s dad, Harry Morgan. Patrick Dempsey, Christina Milian, and Sarah Michelle Gellar also star, but aren’t featured in any first look pics.

And by the look of these photos, it looks like we’re going to see Dexter at his usual setup killing in a clean room.

Here’s the show’s synopsis: Set in 1991 Miami, the series follows Dexter (Gibson) as he transitions from student to avenging serial killer. When his bloodthirsty urges can’t be ignored any longer, Dexter must learn to channel his inner darkness. With the guidance of his father, Harry (Slater), he adopts a Code designed to help him find and kill people who deserve to be eliminated from society without getting on law enforcements’ radar. This is a particular challenge for young Dexter as he begins a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department.
