See the thrilling 2024 WSOP Main Event finish and Jonathan Tamayo's stunned reaction to winning $10 million
The 2024 World Series of Poker Main Event came to a close Wednesday night, with a winner finally claiming the $10 million jackpot.
That winner was Texas native Jonathan Tamayo, who outlasted a record field of more than 10,000 players and persevered after entering the final table in seventh place.
Tamayo won the final hand after striking two pairs on the flop to beat Jordan Griff, who went all-in with a pair of nines. The turn and river didn’t come to Griff’s rescue, and Tamayo was left stunned by the victory as his team cheered on from the side.
