NYPD officer shoots machete-wielding man in Mott Haven

NYPD officers responded to the sixth floor of Third at Bankside, an apartment building on Third Avenue in Mott Haven, just after 10:15 p.m. Wednesday. That's where they say they encountered a 24-year-old man with a machete.
