A powerful storm ripped through the North Country yesterday, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. At Garvey VW Kia, located in Queensbury, chaos ensued when high winds brought down a powerline onto a row of parked cars, sparking a massive fire.

The suspect accused of attacking a restaurant cook after attempting to dine and dash at Shogun Sushi on May 29 appeared in Albany County court on Wednesday. Lucas Healey, 42, of Albany, pleaded not guilty to robbery and assault charges.

5. Rockin’ on the River concert postponed until August

The Rockin’ on the River concert scheduled for July 17 has been canceled, the Downtown Troy Business Improvement District announced. The show will be postponed to an undetermined date in August.
