Driver dead after I-5 off-ramp crash near Jantzen Beach

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A man died early Thursday following a crash on Interstate 5, authorities said.

According to Portland police, officers responded shortly after midnight to Interstate 5 Northbound at the Jantzen Beach exit where they found one car crashed and the driver dead.

During the investigation, the freeway remained open but the off-ramp was closed for a little while.
