4 new bird flu cases confirmed in Colorado poultry workers

DENVER, Colorado: U.S. health officials confirmed on July 14 that four poultry workers in Colorado have been diagnosed with bird flu.

This brings the total number of cases in the U.S. to nine since the first human case of the current outbreak was detected in 2022, also in a Colorado poultry worker. Eight of the nine were reported this year.
