Paphos court shuts down pub without licences

Paphos district court closed the doors of a pub that was operating without proper licencing, it emerged on Thursday.

According to authorities, the police filed a case against the pub owner, who was found to not have an operating licence, inhibiting him from getting music licences and drink licences.

Police said that the pub had been reported several times, and that on Wednesday night, the pub did not open its doors.
