9 Years Ago This Week, Planned Parenthood Was First Exposed Selling Aborted Baby Parts

Nine years ago this week, the first video was released from a three-year undercover investigation that exposed a scandalous secret: Planned Parenthood was selling aborted baby body parts for profit. Operation Rescue President, Troy Newman, served as a founding board member of the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), the organization that conducted the investigation.

When CMP undercover journalists posed as organ procurement representatives and recorded their conversations with Planned Parenthood officials, the evidence was visible for all to see. The series of videos went viral and dispelled suspicions that previously leaked pricing lists for body parts were too far-fetched to be legitimate.

“Today, we look back on the incredible impact of the undercover video project, which prompted a congressional hearing and put Planned Parenthood’s then president, Cecile Richards, on the hotseat,” said Newman. “We must also remember how shocked we were by these cold-hearted killers as our tax dollars are still being funneled into the organization.”

Hopes of finally seeing Planned Parenthood held accountable were crushed when the tables were turned against Newman and the investigative journalists who have since been ordered to pay Planned Parenthood more than $18 million.

Albin Rhomberg, former CMP Board member, urges readers to review the video (below) that “exposes the incredible cruelty of Planned Parenthood abortionists talking about tearing to pieces born babies in order to get body parts to sell – all while they enjoy lunch.” He continued, “Americans need to see these videos and demand that no taxpayer funds be given to Planned Parenthood. And we must vote against any candidate for public office who supports funding these cruel killers of unborn babies.”

 

Newman added, “Planned Parenthood can try to clean up its reputation by inserting the words ‘health center’ into its killing centers, but these people are greedy murderers who know exactly what they are doing. Killing innocent children isn’t enough for them. They squeeze out the last drop of profit by selling off their intricately developed body parts as well. On top of that, this corrupt organization was funded with $700 million of our tax dollars in fiscal year 2022 — without our permission.

“Since the overturn of Roe v. Wade, abortion has become a more pressing issue for voters as they prepare for elections. We cannot forget what was uncovered in these videos and vote accordingly.”
