Lisa Kudrow Shows Why You Can’t Never Go Wrong With These Classic Chanel Shoes Ahead of ‘Jimmy Kimmel’ Appearance

Lisa Kudrow slipped into a pair of patent leather Chanel slingbacks for an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on July 16, where she discussed her new Apple TV+ show “Time Bandits.”

The “Friends” actress selected classic silhouettes for her late night appearance, in which she chatted with guest host Anthony Anderson about her life and career. Kudrow wore pants and a blouse in complementary shades of blue, sporting wide-leg navy trousers with a long sleeve blouse in a slightly lighter hue, which she wore tucked into her pants. The sleeves and upper portion of her blouse were sheer, adding an ethereal element to the business-like ensemble.

Kudrow selected neutral footwear from Chanel to complement her navy outfit. From the French brand’s 2024 cruise show, the patent leather shoes featured a slingback strap that wrapped around the ankle to support the foot while adding another line to the shoe’s silhouette. With Chanel’s signature cap toe design, the heels featured a beige section contrasted by a splash of black across the sharply pointed toe; there was also black trim leading into the strap. The low-to-the-ground shoes included a unique heel made up of two parts: a short cylindrical piece underneath a wider white component.

Slingback pumps ease the burden of walking in heels with the safety of a stylish ankle strap. The shoe has a rich history in fashion, with Chanel first introducing its classic two-toned beige and black slingback in the 1950s. It’s remained a popular style over the years, and the brand continues to produce its iconic cap-toe iteration.
