Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale is the high-end retailer's only major sale of the summer, and one of its few throughout the year outside of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Though the brand does carry high-end and luxury brands like Dior and Ralph Lauren, Nordstrom also carries elevated everyday brands you probably already have in you closet such as Madewell, Nike and Kate Spade.

In our experience — and we are, literally, shopping experts — Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale is one of the best sales of the year to stock up on clothes for work and fancier occasions like weddings.
