The Tottenham Hotspur players and backroom staff including Ange Postecoglou have boarded their flight to Scotland ahead of this evening’s pre-season friendly against Heart of Midlothian.
Spurs are in Scotland for pre-season
Spurs gave plenty of players their first minutes of pre-season in a behind-closed-doors win over Cambridge United on Saturday, including appearances for Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall.
Heats started their pre-season training a week earlier than Tottenham but fell to a 2-1 loss to League One side Leyton Orient on Saturday.
A number of senior players are still missing
Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Guglielmo Vicario, Rodrigo Bentancur, Giovani Lo Celso, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Radu Dragusin remain unavailable due to their international involvement at Euro 2024 or Copa America, respectively.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Fraser Forster and left-back Destiny Udogie are still working their way back to fitness after injuries sustained last season.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 19:00 UK time and will be broadcast live on SpursPLAY, Tottenham’s video streaming service.
