A birthday call, a quick goodbye: Families mourn martyred soldiers in J&K’s Doda

Sepoy Bijendra's final call was to wish his wife a happy birthday in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, expressing his longing to return home soon. Capt Brijesh Thapa spoke to his mother in Siliguri, informing her of an upcoming operation. Both soldiers, along with Sepoy Ajay Kumar Singh from Jhunjhunu and Naik Dokkari Rajesh from Srikakulam, lost their lives in a nighttime gunfight in Doda district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Monday.
