Oregon's Kah-Nee-Ta Hot Springs reopens this week
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — After shuttering in 2018 and undergoing years of remodeling, the Kah-Nee-Ta Resort and Spa will celebrate its grand reopening on July 18.
The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs announced Tuesday that guests can begin booking online reservations on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Reservations are available for overnight stays and day-use passes.
“Exciting News from Kah-Nee-Ta Hot Springs Resort,” the resort shared on social media Tuesday. “After extensive renovations and hard work, we’re thrilled to announce our reopening.”
Upgrades to the resort include new natural hot springs soaking pools that range from 92 to 104 degrees, a “lazy river,” a children’s wading pool and a poolside lounging area that includes private cabanas. The resort's day-use hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Soaking hours for overnight guests last from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Starting in August, the resort will also offer horseback riding and river floats.
