Love Island viewers slam Joey Essex as he makes ‘wrong’ choice that will ‘come back to bite him’

LOVE Island fans have accused Joey Essex of “making the wrong choice”, that could “come back to bite him”.

It came after he was seen helping Mimii Ngulube entice Ayo Odukoya up onto the terrace on tonight’s show.

Joey was asked by Mimii to go and get Ayo so she can talk to him alone.

However, Ayo wasn’t comfortable with this and refused.

The hunk in trunks is currently coupled up with Jessica Spender, after ditching Mimii for her.

However, Joey tried to convince him to go and talk to his former love on the secluded balcony.

As the two men discussed this, Mimii’s current partner Josh Oyinsan walked by.

But instead of telling him what was going on, Joey just pretended like nothing was happening and quickly changed the subject.

Love Island fans were quick to slam Joey for not telling an unsuspecting Josh what was going on.

One fan tweeted: “Joey should’ve told Josh, that will come back to bite him!”

While another said: “Wrong choice Joey!”

This one commented: “Joey should’ve told poor Josh.”

But Joey isn’t the only one interfering in the Mimii, Ayo, and Jess – as Sean Stone has had A LOT to say.

Mimii and Ayo came under fire for kissing which prompted Sean to call out the pair for hiding their feelings for each other.

This only irritated their current partners Jess S and Josh, who hit out at Sean for interfering and for not dropping it.

Jess S pulled Sean for a chat to clear the air and told him to leave it alone – saying she understood there is feelings between Ayo and Mimii that have been parked to the side.

While Ayo also begged sweet salesman Sean to stop stirring the pot and told him that he was firmly set on Jess.

But fans think Sean is deliberately causing drama in a bid to see off the strongest couples, so he can make it to the final and win.

One wrote: “Ciaran, Nicole, Matilda and Sean are on a mission to win. They’ve clocked that Mimii is in their way.”

A second posted: “So if I say Sean and Matilda are s*** stirring cause they’re just trying to win the game? Cause we all know that weasel is not above manipulating the situation to suit him.”

“Sean and Matilda are playing an interesting game. It’s like they’re tryna tear down two strong couples that could win,” a third said.

A fourth echoed: “Nah, Matilda & Sean are playing a BIG BIG game. They want to win this season so bad.”

This viewer agreed: “Sean and Matilda and really trying to win Love Island.”

Last night, Mimii decided to smooch Ayo as part of the challenge.

Many viewers thought she would pie him as revenge for his brutal treatment towards her in Casa Amor.

Explaining her decision, she said: “I chose to snog this boy because we had a good connection whilst it lasted and it just made the most sense for this game for me I think.”

But Mimii’s current partner was left furious at the kiss.

He told her: “My thing is that where you have history with Ayo, like a deeper history, and you know how I felt about that coming in yeah, it just felt like, if you considered me a bit more you might have reconsidered that decision.” 

Mimii confessed: “The feelings are still there.”
