EVM-VVPAT checking and verification not before August end

Eight applications have been received from aggrieved candidates of the Lok Sabha 2024 seeking EVM-VVPAT memory verification from their constituencies spread across six states. The LS verification process will involve 92 polling stations. In the assembly polls, three applications have been moved in two states in all, across 26 polling stations.
