A little help from mechanical friends

India can fix this problem - if it puts its back into it. Nearly 75% of urban infrastructure is yet to be built. So, design and build it right. Metro networks in various cities, some extolling uncleanliness 'above ground', are examples of a successful ecosystem of cleanliness in action achieved through provision of services and stakeholder participation. To make, and keep, our cities 'just' requires the right equipment, attitude and approach.
