Yellow warning issued for extreme temperatures

A yellow warning has been issued for extreme temperatures on Wednesday, with 41C forecast inland.

The warning is valid from 1pm till 4pm on Wednesday.

Temperatures on Tuesday also reached 41C inland.

As the heat peaks, isolated showers are expected on Wednesday from noon onwards.

Tuesday’s temperatures gave a 41C high inland, 35 along the coast and 29 in the mountains.

On Wednesday, the weather will be mainly clear, with clouds giving isolated showers in the mountains.

Temperatures will reach 41C inland, 35 along the coast and 31 in the mountains.

Temperatures from Wednesday onwards are expected to exceed the average for the season for a week.
