Xbox adds three day-one releases to Game Pass making 11 free games you can grab in July

XBOX Game Pass adds new free games every month, but this month is a little different.

Three day-one releases are coming to the service in the second half of July, but they are no longer available to many subscribers.

Earlier this month, Xbox announced that it was changing Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass for Console is no longer available.

Those who want to play the new releases on console will now need Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, though day-one releases are still available on Xbox Game Pass for PC.

If you are currently subscribed to Xbox Game Pass for Console, you will still be able to play day-one releases until your subscription runs out.

In the second half of this month, players can pick up Flintlock: Siege of Dawn, a soulslike with a mix of gun-based and melee combat.

Out on the same day is Dungeons of Hinterberg, a dungeon-crawling game with socialising like in the Persona series.

The final new game is Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, a tower defence strategy game set in feudal Japan.
