Another Very Hot Day with Isolated Rain Chances

Yesterday's weather is back in Acadiana this Tuesday. A warm, muggy, and mostly quiet morning will be followed by a very hot afternoon as temperatures approach 95°. The heat index is expected to be near 105° or hotter. Isolated showers and storms are likely during the afternoon as rain chances increase to 30%.

A stormy pattern takes over Thursday and throughout the weekend. Heavy rains are possible but we think the flash flooding threat will remain limited for Acadiana.
