Albany man arrested for allegedly having crystal meth
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany County Sheriff's Office reported the arrest of an Albany man following a traffic stop. Samuel Guarino, 37, faces multiple drug charges.
Charges
- Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Third-degree bail jumping
Deputies say they conducted the traffic stop on Monday at around 2:50 p.m. in Albany when Guarino, a passenger of the car, was found with crystal methamphetamine that was packaged for distribution. The Sheriff's Office also says Guarino had an active warrant for his arrest from the Albany Police Department.
Guarino was placed in the Albany County Correctional Facility and held while he awaits arraignment. His arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday.
