EC releases SOP for EVMs burnt memory checking, verification with expanded choices for candidates

The Election Commission of India has released a new SOP for EVMs, allowing candidates to have expanded choices in checking and verification processes. The SOP includes selecting EVMs from any polling station, mixing and matching EVM units, and casting up to 1400 votes in a mock poll.
