Hello! We had a great time back in June at Growler Guys watching the Mariners thump the Marlins, so we’re doing it again! This time they’re on the road versus another bad team, the Chicago White Sox! Sadly, beating bad teams has not been the team’s strength lately but maybe they just need LLers to be gathered and watching dutifully in the DUGOUT at Growler Guys. Yeah, that’s probably it!

Time: Gather around 4 PM, game starts at 4:15 PM

Once again we’ll have the use of a covered outdoor patio with a TV for watching the game. For food and drink options, there are 60 taps, including gluten-free and non-alcoholic options, and non-beer options like wine and spiked seltzer. There’s also a kitchen churning out sandwiches and pizzas and the like (with vegetarian and gluten-free options), but it’s small, so get there early if you want to order off the menu. Here’s a link to the tap list and menu so you can get an idea of what they serve. There may be some food specials, TBD on that! We will also have some Mariners swag to raffle off between innings like last time.
Growler Guys is kid- and dog-friendly, with ample outdoor space for playing games like Giant Jenga. There’s a parking lot at the venue as well as limited street parking in the residential neighborhood around GG, and a variety of bus lines (the 322 or 522 will get you the closest) serve the Lake City Way/Roosevelt/Maple Leaf area. Growler Guys is a member of the Mariners Bar League, so there’s always fans watching the games at GG in THE DUGOUT, located on the south side of the outdoor seating area.
