Ingrid Andress' 'National Anthem' at Home Run Derby 2024 Has Social Media Abuzz

Ingrid Andress had the honor of performing the National Anthem at the 2024 Home Run Derby and the performance was unfortunately not well-received on social media.

The 32-year-old country singer appeared to be struggling vocally throughout her performance and she was unable to hit some of the high notes.

The Home Run Derby is taking place at Globe Life Field on Monday (July 15) in Arlington, Tex.

Ingrid is a four-time Grammy-nominated singer best known for songs like “More Hearts Than Mine,” “The Stranger,” and “Wishful Drinking.” She co-wrote Charli XCX‘s song “Boys.” Back in 2021, she was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammys.

The National Anthem performance is already being compared to Fergie‘s iconic rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.
