Love Island fans slam Nicole after she kisses a boy in the villa – and it wasn’t Ciaran
LOVE Island fans have slammed Nicole Samuel after she kissed another boy in the villa – in front of her boyfriend Ciaran Davies.
Nicole and Ciaran are the only official couple in this year’s series of the ITV2 show but she has now locked lips with someone else.
During a game of Snog, Marry, Pie?, Nicole found herself snogging former Towie star Joey Essex.
Joey picked Nicole for his ‘snog’ because he felt she “needed to be remarked” having previously claimed she was a bad kisser.
Ciaran looked furious with his pal for kissing his girl – but viewers at home were more angry with Nicole.
Fans of the show were left seething with Nicole for going ahead with the kiss, despite spending the series ‘controlling’ Ciaran.
Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, one complained: “Nicole fully kissed Joey but if that was her man, she would’ve been flipping nuts by now.”
Another added: “If it was one of the girls choosing to snog Ciaran, Nicole would be flipping her s*** at Ciaran even if it was just a game. Why didn’t she refuse to kiss Joey when she is taken?”
A third said: “Why didn’t Nicole just peck joey when he picked her?? If it was the other way round…..”
And a fourth raged: “You know if Ciaran kissed another woman Nicole would be fuming! Why did she kiss Joey back though?”
When it was her turn, Nicole chose to stay faithful and kiss her fellow Welsh islander Ciaran.
“He’s lush, I’m not going to snog any other boy. Sorry!” she said, before going in for a snog.
But although she chose to ‘pie’ Joey, Ciaran still took issue with his mate for picking his girlfriend for a kiss.
Later, he tried to speak to Joey about his shady move but struggled to get a word in.
Ciaran then suddenly expoloded: “Joey, just let me f***ing speak.
“I just think it’s weird that you’ve gone and kissed by missues, that’s it. “
Love Island series 11 - feuds in the villa
No edition of Love Island is complete without its fair share of drama - and series 11 is no different. Here's a look at some of the most fiery feuds so far.
- Joey Essex & Samantha Kenny: Samantha entered the villa on Day 1 and was initially coupled with Sam Taylor. However, Samantha was ‘stolen’ by Joey, the first bombshell of series 11. She was ‘dumped’ on Day 16 – with the make-up artist saying she had been brutally snubbed by Joey in the villa – although it never made it to air.
- Matilda Draper & Jess White: While Matilda arrived as a bombshell on Day 12, Jess was part of the original line-up. The two clashed in Casa Amor, over Jess’ frustration that Matilda was talking to new hunk Hugo Godfroy – who Jess previously snogged.
- Harriet Blackmore & Jess White: The two women were caught up in a love triangle for much of their time on the programme. The pair were fighting over Ronnie Vint, 27, from Greenwich, who wound up being dumped alongside Harriett.
In a preview clip of Monday night’s show, Ciaran was seen swearing at Joey as tensions came to a head.
At the time, fans were unaware of the reason behind the feud and assumed Ciaran had grown tired of Joey interrupting him when talking.
“Joey just doesn’t shut up and let anyone speak. Even the way he was talking to Grace,” one person said. “He’s supposed to be the most grown up in there. Sure doesn’t act it.”
