Vikram Misri takes charge as foreign secretary

Vikram Misri has been appointed as India's foreign secretary for two years, following his previous roles with three prime ministers and two external affairs ministers. Misri has experience in various Indian Missions abroad, including Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America. He has previously served as joint secretary in the Prime Minister's Office and private secretary to three Prime Ministers.
