Josh Allen accepted a fantasy trade for himself on a fan's phone, ensuring he'll be the reason for their suffering
There’s plenty enough reason to question how well Josh Allen will play this coming season with Stefon Diggs no longer his No. 1 target on the Buffalo Bills. But one person who isn’t questioning how productive he’ll remain is Allen himself.
Playing in the American Century Championship this past weekend, Allen was shown a fantasy football trade proposal involving himself by a fan attending the event, and Allen did what any confident athlete would do in that situation: he hit accept on it.
Congrats to the guy who just landed last year’s QB1, and the top-scoring quarterback in three of the last four years.

Judging by the reaction of the fan, Allen probably just did what was asked of him. It was a trade the fan seemed likely to accept anyway, and having Allen do it just made it a little cooler.
But hopefully Allen lives up to the standard he’s set for himself. It’s one thing to be disappointed when players *you picked* for your fantasy team are letting you down. It’s another thing when one of those players put himself there. Especially if the trade cost you Patrick Mahomes.
