CBI takes over Chhattisgarh PSC recruitment 'scam' probe, books former chairman, ex-secretary

The CBI has launched an investigation into the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission scam, where family members and relatives of former chairman, officials, and politicians were appointed to district collectorate and Deputy SP positions during 2020-22. The agency has registered an FIR against then CGPSC chairperson Taman Singh Sonwani, Secretary J K Dhruv, and others for alleged nepotism and pushing ineligible candidates in the merit list.
