I thought I looked amazing with eyelash extensions… until I took them off – now I’ve had a huge natural glow-down
A YOUNG woman has revealed that she thought she looked her “best” with eyelash extensions, but has now ditched them for good.
When it comes to beauty trends, they tend to come and go, and while many of us were once obsessed with long, fluttery lashes, it appears that the tide is changing once again.
In a recent trend, we are seeing more women ditch the eyelash extensions and heavy make-up, in a bid to embrace their natural beauty.
And Robyn-Eve Cregg, 23, a fashion fanatic and beauty lover, is just one woman who is embracing her natural looks.
Posting on social media, the fashion model left her followers open-mouthed when she shared before and after pictures of her ‘glow-down’.
Robyn-Eve posted a snap showing off her full face of make-up and long eyelash extensions.
She wrote: “Me thinking I looked my best with eyelash extensions…”
But now fake lashes are out and the clean girl aesthetic is in, Robyn-Eve decided to switch up her look with a ‘glow-down’, and many say it’s for the better.
The ‘clean girl aesthetic’ trend is rooted in the idea of ‘less is more’.
It promotes enhancing natural beauty rather than covering it up and to achieve the look, women are opting to embrace dewy skin instead of full coverage matte foundations, ditching the heavy lashes and going for a skincare-first approach.
And it appears that Robyn-Eve has taken inspiration from it, as seconds later, she revealed a series of snaps of her, showing off her eyelash extension free eyes, as she ditched her fake lashes and opted for a more natural look.
Alongside videos showing off her natural beauty, whereby Robyn-Eve had just a flick of mascara on her natural lashes, she wrote: “Until I took them off.”
The blonde beauty then urged others: “Grow out them natural lashes ladies.”
We think that Robyn-Eve looks stunning with and without her eyelash extensions, but her latest ‘glow-down’ meant her natural beauty was really shining through.

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @robynecregg, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 103,400 views.
Social media users were stunned by Robyn-Eve’s ‘glow-down’ and many took to the comments to express this.
