Cleveland-Cliffs in $2.5 Billion Deal to Buy Canadian Steelmaker Stelco

Cleveland-Cliffs reached a deal to buy Canadian steel producer Stelco Holdings in a deal valued at about $2.5 billion, expanding its steelmaking footprint and doubling its exposure to the flat-rolled spot market.
