Two people, dog rescued after boats capsize at Hoover Reservoir

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Two people and a dog are OK after being rescued from the Hoover Reservoir Sunday afternoon.

Members of the Westerville Fire Department responded to a water rescue call just after 4:30 p.m.

According to a spokesperson at the scene, two people and the dog were in two separate inflatable kayaks when a quick but strong line of thunderstorms blew through the area, capsizing the boats.

Both people and the dog were rescued without injuries.
