Letters: There is nothing ‘apparent’ about this clear assassination attempt

When the Register was purchased by Democrats all objectivity disappeared. Not “Trump shot in assassination attempt.” We get “Trump Fine After Shooting at Rally.” Then an article about how nice Biden was to call him. The media in general continues its Trump derangement syndrome and the average American suffers. To vote Democrat requires ignoring results and believing anything said by politicians masquerading as journalists.

Where is the doubt?

While holding a public rally a presidential candidate receives a gunshot wound to his head and a bystander is killed. You however call it an “apparent” assassination attempt. Apparent? One inch away from an actual assassination is not an attempted assassination? Where is the room for doubt? We deserve better from our news sources.

New York Times and AP:  “…an incident…”

OC Register:  “…apparent assassination attempt…”

Incident?  Apparent?  I wonder why so many people despise and mistrust the press.

Is anyone really surprised?

For years now, Democrats and the media have called Trump Hitler, racist, white supremacist, Nazi, rapist, threat to democracy and a dictator. Biden on a donor call last week said “it’s time to put the bull’s-eye on Trump.” Is anyone surprised that someone did?
