Downtown Schenectady Tater Trot winners announced

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation (DSIC) held its second annual Tater Trot in Downtown Schenectady on Saturday. There were about 2,000 attendees who were able to sample $1 dishes and vote for their favorites.

Visitors voted High Five at The Electric Grinch to be the overall Top Tater. The participant's dish was a purple potato ice cream with sweet potato caramel and candied pecans.

Most creative dish also went to High Five at The Electric Grinch. Best flavor profile and best presentation went to the SUNY Schenectady Food Truck which served purple sweet potato mont blanc.
