UGC-NET paper leak: DU says no plans for separate PhD entrance exams

Delhi University (DU) has announced that it will not hold separate PhD entrance exams like Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). The university is awaiting guidance from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and expects the academic session for PhD to be delayed by a month. The uncertainty surrounding PhD admissions arose after the cancellation of the UGC NET exam by the Centre, which determines eligibility for teaching positions and PhD admissions.
