Lwandle shack owner Kgotso Sneymes, 32, went to bed with all his appliances in their rightful positions, food packed away and his bag ready to be grabbed when he woke up in the morning, instead he was woken up in the middle of the night by loud banging on his door as neighbours warned him to get out of his shack as water was seeping into his home.
