Ice Spice is a loyal fan of these these trendy, head-turning designer boots. She wore a black pair on two occasions last week; during performances at Rolling Loud Europe and Roskilde Festival. She also a lilac pair during her performance at the 2023 BET Awards.

This year, industrial-looking biker (or moto) boots have been making somewhat of a comeback, as spotted on Tracee Ellis Ross and Reneé Rapp.

As for the Givenchy Shark boot, it was first released in 2012, under the direction of Riccardo Tisci, as a knee-high style and popularized by celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Lindsey Lohan. The 3.5-inch heel, hidden under the extra sheath of leather, offers a leg-lengthened effect.

In 2022, Givenchy Creative Director Matthew M. Williams gave the memorable boot a modern touch with chunky metallic hardware and plethora of bold colorways, materials and silhouettes, such as mesh sandal boots, cowboy boots, various denim and sparkly versions and the chunky biker boot, which comes in tall and ankle versions.

Wireless Festival 2024 takes place in Finsbury Park in London from July 12 to 14 and features some of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B. Nicki Minaj, Future, 21 Savage, J Hus and Doja Cat are this year’s headliners. The festival made news today as the organizers decided they will end the event early on Sunday so attendees could watch the Euro 2024 soccer match.
