Will less (people) bring more (peace)?

The UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs predicts that global population will peak around 10.3 billion by the end of this century. This demographic shift will lead to profound economic and societal changes. With fewer people and longer lifespans due to improved health and automation, economies are expected to become richer as productivity increases despite a shrinking workforce.
