Ericsson Posts Better-Than-Expected Sales on Licensing Revenue Increase

The telecoms-equipment company has more than 60,000 patents and grants licenses to companies such as mobile-phone manufacturers, bringing in hundreds of millions of dollars of extra revenue each year.
